Esperanto social network (big update 9)

Esperantists can use several social networks. This post is about selecting the best one and defining features that an Esperanto social network should have.

The best Esperanto social network is Facebook because it has more necessary features.
https://esperantujo.directory does not list small countries, such as Andorra, Vatican, etc.
http://kunligo.com has very few features and therefore is inactive.
https://nubo.re has simple profiles, searching members by name, simple forum, simple groups, simple events, commercial pageshttps://esperanto.masto.host

Note!!! If the table below does not fit the page, reduce the zoom of your page in internet browser (Ctrl + Minus)

If the social network has good forum, there will be a section for posting Esperanto vacancies and a section for those who look for an Esperanto job. So, the social network will have features of a job search website.

Notes:
1) The names of users should follow the rules of Esperanto (spelling and pronunciation) not to confuse readers. There must be no letters that are not used in Esperanto and no numbers or special characters.
 2) There are many classifications of levels of language proficiency. I suggest to use the following for the levels of Esperanto: nula, baza, studa, baza labora, bona labora, libera.
4) The following search filters are recommended: name, level of Esperanto, country, city, sex, age range, hobby, exclude inactive users (see 7).
5) Events should be like on Facebook, plus there must be a reliable way to subscribe to events which people you follow joined, possibility to see the calendar of Esperanto events, possibility to subscribe to Esperanto events.
6) There should be no friends feature. It is better to use approach of Twitter where you follow people who are interesting for you. Following means you should be notified about changes in their profiles. I don't think it is necessary to have a feature of posting as users can post in relevant sections of the forum. Such posts will be better targeted.
7) Map on www.edukado.net shows all registered users even if their level of Esperanto is zero or they have not visited the website for years. Instead the map should show only people with higher-than-zero level of Esperanto and only those who are active (logged in to the website in the last 12 months).

  1. Mi ne scias, kio estis viaj kriterioj, sed eble (preskaŭ) socia reto estas ankaŭ https://esperantujo.directory/ (almenaŭ ĝı ebligas trovi homojn kaj poste kontakti ilin per kutimaj grandaj paĝaroj — tre sobra aliro, ja konkuri kun VK aŭ Facebook estas apenaŭ eble).
